Hello, this is Director Lee Jong-ju.
In today’s Director’s Note, I’ll cover the main updates in this week’s patch and discuss growth resources.
First, the profile icon and border rewards for the “Extrem Difficulty Pioneers” mentioned last week are ready and will be distributed this week. See the image below.

New Event: A New Beginning
The first part of the new event, A New Beginning, will launch after this week’s patch. To improve accessibility, the event format has changed from entering via NPC to progressing through a dedicated UI page.
The event’s theme centers on rebuilding a ruined cathedral after the Octum Apostles’ attack, including a short epilogue about the heroes who saved the continent of El Phildin. The event consists of three modes: Standard Battle, Challenge Battle, and Scenario.
In the first part of A New Beginning, Standard Battles, Exchange Shop, and Missions will be available, while the second part will unlock Challenge Battles and Scenario.
A field drop event will also run simultaneously.
We apologize for the recent lack of events over the past few weeks. We’ll address event direction alongside the growth resource discussion below.
New Event: Infinite Abyss
The Infinite Abyss event will also be available. It shares similar rules with regular Abyss like Destiny, Eternal, and Sea Abyss but is only accessible during the event period.
Each Abyss contains 60 floors, each offering Garnet rewards. Some floors contain special reward chests where players can choose between Walnut Bread Basket, Garnets, or Knowledge.
Players who missed knowledge drops from regular adventures now have a chance to obtain them, while those who already have it can choose Walnut Bread Basket or Garnet as their reward.
These reward chests can be obtained by clearing 30 floors in [Event] Eternal Abyss or [Event] Sea Abyss and will be stored in your inventory.
Ollesia Hero Balance Patch
The balance adjustment for the 2-star Ollesia is included in this update. We aim to make Ollesia more versatile in various situations, addressing the issue where a guild raid team without specific heroes struggles to achieve decent scores.
We hope this adjustment benefits many players. Full details will be shared in tomorrow’s patch notes.
Mirror’s Abyss Update Delay
The previously announced new content, Mirror‘s Abyss, requires multi-team composition, so we’re postponing its release to refine the UX, emphasize unique buffs, monster compositions, and patterns for an enhanced experience. We apologize for not meeting the initial schedule and thank you for your patience as we prepare this content for the next week’s patch.
Growth Resource Updates
Currently, growth resources can be obtained through various content and systems, as well as through events. However, after the Halloween event ended, no additional events were held for about two weeks. Players may have felt a three- to four-week gap in acquiring key resources, limiting growth opportunities.
Event rewards play a significant role in growth resources, so we promise to ensure regular, uninterrupted events from now on.
More importantly, we will improve farming of growth resources within the core game systems and add new content to provide both growth and motivation.
We’ll work to deliver the content mentioned earlier as soon as possible.
This concludes today’s updates. Here’s a summary of major content and systems planned for November:
Mirror’s Abyss, Inn Collection and Jukebox Room, Idun Guild Raid, Resonance Stone System, A Cagesong of the Ocean Episode 5 Scenario, Threat of Gagharv Improvements, and Hall of Heroes Enhancements.
We’ll provide further details as they’re ready for release. Thank you.
