Hello, this is Director Lee Jong-ju.

Today, I’ll provide an overview of this week’s key patch details and introduce the new content, Illusion of Mirror.

    Let’s dive right in!

A New Beginning Event: Phase 2

The A New Beginning event that began last week will receive its Phase 2 update this week.

    Challenge Battles
Challenge Battles consist of wave-based combat with three unique strategies to explore:

    Challenge 1: Multi-Enemy Challenge
Strategy: Focus on quickly eliminating numerous enemies.

    Challenge 2: Survival Challenge
Strategy: Defense and survival are paramount; offense is less significant.

    Challenge 3: Damage Challenge
Strategy: Prioritize maximizing damage output over defense.

Clearing these challenges rewards garnets and event currency, Flower of Hope.
With the event’s second phase, it is now possible to earn additional Flower of Hope, and the Primal Ether has been added in the event shop.

    Scenario Updates

New scenarios related to the reconstruction of Cathedral are being introduced.

In this storyline, Avin responds to Gawaine's request and arrives at the Cathedral. You’ll also encounter familiar heroes like Eimelle, Syna, and Lucias.
Explore the narrative and lend your aid to the reconstruction effort!

    New Guild Raid: Idun
Idun is the newest addition to Guild Raids and will be available starting next Tuesday.
As previously mentioned, heroes with magic-based damage have an upper hand against Idun.
Compared to Scotia and Nephthys, the fight against Idun felt slightly more manageable to me.

A hero in a new costume also participates in this battle—can you guess who it is?

    Improvements to Threat of Gagharv
The scheduled improvements to Threat of Gagharv will be implemented on November 28th.

    Adjustment in Weekly Settlements
Due to the system resetting on Mondays, we will process settlements separately as follows:

    Original Schedule: November 25th – December 2nd
    Revised Schedule:
    November 25th – November 27th, 15:00 PM UTC+0 (1st Settlement)
    November 28th – December 2nd (2nd Settlement)
Rewards will be distributed for both settlements, and the boss, Karnikos, will remain unchanged.

    New Content: Illusion of Mirror
This week’s patch introduces Illusion of Mirror, a unique feature where your fears, doubts, and weaknesses are reflected in the form of enemies.
In this challenge, you’ll overcome these reflections and break through your inner walls.
Although this content requires assembling diverse teams, all levels are adjusted to 70, making it accessible at account level 15.

NOTE: The images were not translated because they’re still currently in development.

    Features
The content is divided into two parts:
Illusion of Mirror: A one-time introduction to acclimate to the mechanics.
Abyss of Mirror: A bi-weekly rotating challenge.

Changes to Abyss of Mirror Configuration
    - Monster changes
    - Rewards reset
    - Changes to Guide of Illusion (providing special buffs)

    Special Rules:
Guide of Illusion Buffs: Choose buffs based on your team before each floor; only one buff per team is allowed.
No Item Usage: Strategic hero placement and planning are crucial.
No Duplicate Heroes: Heroes used on one floor cannot be used again on another.
Level Adjustment: All heroes are scaled to level 70.

    Rewards
The Illusion of Mirror offers one-time rewards, while the Abyss of Mirror provides recurring rewards every two weeks.
Clear each floor to earn stars based on mission performance. Although the maximum is 12 stars per floor, you only need 9 stars to claim all rewards.

Enemies in the Abyss of Mirror differ slightly from their original patterns, so you’ll need to develop new strategies to overcome them.

    That’s all for today’s updates.

Most of the notes so far have been text-heavy, but since this update involves explaining new content, I tried to include more images. Moving forward, I’ll aim to attach as many visuals as possible.
The time it takes to write the Director’s Notes has lately been focused on more finalized information, which has pushed the timeline later and overlapped with key patch preparation periods. As a result, I haven’t been able to post as frequently as before.

I’ll work on stabilizing internal processes to address this issue.

    Thank you.
