Hello, this is Director Lee Jong-ju.
We have selected three of the five main hero characters for balance adjustments.
The chosen heroes are Mile, Forte, and McVein.
As for Una and Avin, they are widely used across various content depending on their utility.
The focus of this balance adjustment is aimed more towards beginners or new players (those with a smaller hero pool).
Since all selected heroes are being buffed, their utility is expected to increase significantly compared to before.
Let’s dive straight into the details.
Mile
Skills
Transcendence
Mile, being a hero utilized from the beginning of the game, is designed to perform various roles such as a sub-damage dealer, sub-healer, or debuffer when equipped with his origin weapon, especially in scenarios with limited hero options.
However, it was determined that Mile couldn’t fully perform their roles as a damage dealer or healer, resulting in low usage even in early game stages.
Thus, the following adjustments are being made to enable Mile to more effectively fulfill the roles of a sub-damage dealer and sub-healer.
Forte
Potential
Transcendence
Origin Weapon
Forte is a hero with the useful debuff ability of reducing physical resistance. However, due to low survivability in the current environment, Forte is difficult to use effectively.
Therefore, adjustments will be made to Forte’s potential and the first stage of transcendence to enhance survivability and usability in battles.
Additionally, the transcendence level 5 effect of the origin weapon, which allowed [Jump Rush] and [Round Rush] to silence enemies upon hit, will now be applied across all transcendence levels.
The physical damage increase buff value will also be enhanced, making Forte more viable in combat.
McVein
Skills
Transcendence
Origin weapon
McVein is designed as a tank hero whose max HP and defense increase over time during battle due to the effects of the origin weapon. However, it was assessed that McVein struggles with early battle survivability and fails to fulfill the tank role effectively even in prolonged battles.
First, passive skills with cooldowns and activation conditions will be reworked.
The existing passive skills had limited triggers in battles due to their complexity, reducing practicality. The new changes will enable them to trigger after a set number of hits without cooldown, improving their usability in combat.
Additionally, the transcendence level 5 effect of McVein's origin weapon, which previously only increased max HP and defense, limited accessibility.
Moving forward, the origin weapon will provide incremental buffs to max HP and defense with each transcendence level. The enhanced buff values will further solidify McVein’s role as a tank that grows stronger as battles progress.
The next update will include a rework of the Hall of Heroes.
The current season will conclude on Monday, December 16th, and the update is scheduled for Thursday, December 19th. From the end of the season on December 16th until the patch on December 19th, the Hall of Heroes will operate in preseason mode.
Thank you.
