Time truly flies - I can hardly believe we're already at the month's end. I hope your new year is off to a great start and your plans are progressing well. Let's dive into today's Dev Note!

New Addition: Moonlight Witch Episode - Extreme I Difficulty

As previously announced, we've added Extreme I difficulty to "Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch." This level offers a more approachable challenge compared to Extreme II, providing players with Shoes (up to Tier 18). For those eagerly awaiting Extreme II, we're planning its release for March or April.

After reviewing our overall difficulty curve, we recognized the need for content that encourages strategic thinking while remaining enjoyable. We're currently developing a new Challenge Content, set to lunch mid-March. (Fair warning: reaching the final stage immediately after release might be difficult.)

This new Challenge Content is designed for long-term engagement - while it may require significant effort, we want players to feel motivated to keep pushing forward. Additionally, we're excited to announce an upcoming Hero Growth System that should add even more depth to the game.

Introducing Our New Hero

Did you guess it? It's Morrison! 

Interestingly, while the dev team had mixed success with these hints (leading us to add "Purple" instead of our original "bandana" clue), we believed our players would crack the code. In retrospect, "bandana" might have been a more telling hint!

We chose "Master and Disciple" as a hint because of Morrison's relationship with his student Magisa - both master of Kand. Despite joining after Roule, Morrison demonstrates impressive command of Kand in combat. One particularly memorable moment is his subtle yet powerful entrance in the last chapter, where he defeats a group of Dark Knights at once.

"A Cagesong of the Ocean" Scenario Revision

While we had hoped to implement the scenario revision before the last chapter update, the process has taken longer than expected. We apologize for not communicating this earlier.

This revision requires comprehensive changes - from character dialogue and quest flow to directing and complete voice recording. Though it's taking longer than anticipated, we remain committed to delivering a revision worthy of your patience and expectations.

Looking ahead, we're excited to announce that the first chapter of Moonlight Witch will launch in early March. The story begins on Negal Island - the homeland of everyone's favorite hero, Lodi!
