Hello, this is Director Lee Jong-joo.
We are currently experiencing a bug related to the new character, Guide Rutice
First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
About the Issue
[Main Skill: Liberation of Power]
Releases power for 15 seconds, increasing basic attack damage and throwing 5 daggers at random enemies. During this time, mana cannot be regenerated.
We’ve discovered that the "5 daggers" effect from basic attacks was unintentionally interacting with the Origin Weapon, Holy Sword Hyperion.
Specifically, if you use Rutice’s main skill and then perform 3 basic attacks, the Hyperion effect would incorrectly trigger 3 times — once per attack — rather than once per actual basic attack input.
By design, the dagger effect should only contribute one stack toward triggering Holy Sword Hyperion, while the passive skill stacks correctly apply as 5.
Additionally, Rutice’s Origin Weapon, Bright, was intended to have superior synergy and performance.
We believe many adventurers summoned it with this expectation in mind, and we deeply regret that this unintended interaction may have disrupted that experience.
Temporary Adjustment & Future Fix
Since a new build patch is required to implement the proper fix — and that will take additional time — we are temporarily limiting the effectiveness of Holy Sword Hyperion to prevent further imbalance.
During the next update, we will also restore gameplay records to reflect a fairer competitive environment, based on the state before the maintenance.
(Please note: achievement rewards will remain unchanged, as we do not believe the score gaps were significantly different.)
The full normalization of Holy Sword Hyperion’s effect and the proper fix for Lutis’s main skill will be applied in next week’s maintenance. We sincerely apologize once again for the inconvenience caused by this unexpected bug.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain balance and fairness in the game.
Thank you always for your support.
