Hello, this is Director Lee Jong-joo.
For the month of June, we're focusing on rebalancing existing heroes to ensure they remain viable and exciting choices for adventurers. First in line is Michel, a beloved hero who has shown signs of falling behind as newer heroes have released. With the update, we hope to revitalize Michel's presence and provide more strategic options for those who enjoy using him.
Let's take a closer look at the details.
Michel Balance Adjustment
Michel, released in the early stages of the game, is a Magical Dealer designed to handle multiple enemies. However, he requried full transcendence to show his true potential, and the delayed activation of his [Seal Break] skill made it difficult for him to keep up with newly released ranged dealer. This adjustment aims to help Michel perform his role faster and more consistently.
<Skill Changes>
<Skill Summary>
Michel's main skill now has a wider diagonal range, allowing it to affect more enemies. This expands the reach of his Accuracy Reduction and Knockback effects, which improves both ally survivability and crowd control. The number of targets is also increased and the frequency of Mana Absorption is enhanced, increasing overall skill utility. Additionally, a boost to Michel's Accuracy improves the consistency of this attacks.
<Transcendence Changes>
<Transcendence Summary>
The activation chance of Michel's sub skill has been slightly increased, allowing him to apply pressure earlier in battle. This adjustment helps him deal significant damage from the start.
<Origin Weapon - Ortega>
<Origin Weapon Summary>
Michel retains Mana Absorption, making him effective in battles against multiple enemies. The added magic damage scaling improves his output across transcendence stages.
<Comprehensive Summary>
This update addresses Michel's previous shortcomings. We expect him to shine in content such as Tower of Challenge and Infinite Abyss, where wide-area damage and sustain are key. Additionally, this update includes changes to Repeat Battle limits, with Sweep Battle limits scheduled for next week's patch.
The next character to be adjusted will be Borgeid. Details of that rework will be shared in the upcoming Dev Note.
Thank you for your support.
Best Regards,
Director Lee Jong-joo.
