Today, I would like to share my thoughts on one of my favorite topics: story.

Along with this, I will also provide additional details on the Level Burst system and a small hint about a new hero.

1st Anniversary Story Review

This story begins when McVein, one of the protagonists of Cagesong of the Ocean, dozes off and finds himself invited to the spirit world.

Since the spirits summoned heroes from different timelines, multiple protagonists appear together.

This was intended to bring everyone together to celebrate the 1st anniversary.

An enigmatic figure who was summoned imperfectly also appears in the story.

One of the highlights is the scene where the protagonists perform music together, which turned out to be visually and thematically beautiful.

Personally, I was especially proud to depict the moment where Leone and McVein perform together—not only as a director but also as a fan.

Although not directly explained in the game, the Queen of Spirits is a figure who once invited Leone to the spirit world and was deeply moved by his performance, to the point of building a concert hall resembling the Kavaro Theater.

In this story, the concert was nearly disrupted by a mischievous fairy, but thanks to the queen’s power and resonance magic, the performance was safely completed.

Leone’s Hero Gallery Review

Leone is a character who, driven by his musical curiosity, managed to recreate the long-lost Melody that had disappeared for over 900 years. His unique ability, called the “Resonance of All Things,” allows him to perceive the vibrations of all beings and weave them into music.

The focus of this atelier was not just recalling his past but connecting his appearances in the main story to deeper background lore and filling in unresolved details.

For example: Why did he want to recreate the Melody? Why did he entrust resonance stones to others, and what bonds did that create? How did he discover the secret location “Viola Ruhm” hidden by the Burodain royal family? And why did he entrust McVein with an important resonance stone in childhood?

Through this Hero Gallery, we hoped to provide answers to these questions and convey Leone’s inner perspective more vividly and profoundly.

Additional Details on Level Burst

With this update, the Level Burst system officially opens.

It unlocks when you have 20 or more ★3 heroes at level 70, requiring three resources: the number of ★3 level 70 heroes, Gold, and EXP.

Levels can be extended in increments of 5, with 10 stages in total. At stages 3, 6, and 10, a special material called Awakening Ether is additionally required. Awakening Ether can be obtained through account level rewards (starting from level 50, every 10 levels), crafting (monthly), Threat of Gagharv  season rewards (fragments), and Guild Raid rewards (fragments).

The system is designed to encourage long-term growth rather than short-term consumption, so we recommend progressing steadily at your own pace while managing your resources.

Adjustment to Stat Distribution

Previously, the stat growth between levels 60–70 was disproportionately high, creating a growth imbalance.

With this adjustment, stat growth between levels 10–70 has been balanced, while the final performance at level 70 remains unchanged.
